Accommodations

Unfortunately, the sleeping accommodations at Holland Lake Lodge are rather limited and thus we will only be able to accommodate the wedding party on-site. That being said, the Seeley and Swan Lake area offers a variety of lodging options for those looking to stay a night or two. If you think you’ll be able to join us for our big day, we strongly encourage that you book your lodging as soon as possible.

Montana, and the Glacier National Park region, is a tourist destination. Much of the lodging can book up a whole year ahead of time. We are hopeful that by giving our guests lots of notice, you will be able to book your lodging without incident and ensure you get in to the most convenient and enjoyable lodging. Lodges – Cabins – Hotels

Montana Pines Hotel
Located just north of the Seeley Lake community, roughly 25 minutes south of Holland Lake Lodge, the Montana Pines Hotel offers friendly accommodations at a reasonable price.  As of early May, they still had a couple of rooms available for the wedding weekend, with better availability on Saturday night than Friday.  You can reach them directly at 406-677-2278.  Just a warning:  if you do any ‘Googling’ to find more information about this location, there is a hotel with the exact same name located near the entrance of Glacier.  Although a lovely location, you want to be certain to book the Montana Pines Hotel located on Highway 83 to be conveniently located near the wedding.

Wilderness Gateway Inn and Seeley Motor Lodge  Owned and operated by the same family, these two venues are located in the heart of the Seeley Lake community and conveniently located directly off of Highway 83, approximately 30 minutes south of Holland Lake Lodge.  As of May 2012, the Seeley Motor Lodge only had a couple of rooms left for the wedding weekend and the Wilderness Gateway Inn still had availability in more than a dozen rooms.  The best way to make a reservation?: Please call Mike and June directly at 406-677-2335. (And don’t be confused if they answer “Seeley Motor Lodge.” They operate both facitilities out of the same office.)

Laughing Horse Lodge
Willing to drive on some of Montana’s scenic highways? About 45 minutes north of Holland Lake Lodge is the Laughing Horse Lodge with several quaint guest rooms and award-winning service.

Swan Lake Guest Cabins
The Swan Lake Guest Cabins are also about 45 minutes north of the Lodge and offer several different cabins that can sleep 2 to 6 guests.  Billed as ‘self-catered,’ these cabins come complete with a barbeque, cooking utinsels, and all necessary linens.  This particular location may offer a more isolated and serene option for your liking and still has ample availability as of April 2012.

Private cabins near Holland Lake Lodge:
We have recently learned of a couple that has decided to rent out their family cabin that is right on Holland Lake (!) and is approximately a 2 mile drive from the Lodge.  The cabin is rustic, but comfortably sleeps 4, plus a bunk bed.  This cabin was still available as of mid-April.  If you are interested in this option, let us know and we can forward along some pictures and additional information or you can contact Zoe directly at 406-721-7273

Another family, the John and Judy Yajko’s, are friends of Holland Lake Lodge and also have a small cabin, a little north of the  Lodge.  The cabin sleeps up to 5, is reasonably priced, and is apparently quaint with impressive views.  If you are interested, you can contact the Yajko’s directly at 406-754-2703.

Big Fork
Thinking of heading up to Glacier National Park before or after the wedding?  Big Fork, MT lies about half way between Holland Lake Lodge and the entrance to the Park and offers several lodging options such as The Mountain Lake Lodge, The Woods Bay Resort, The Many Springs Flathead Lake Resort, and The Grand Hotel Bed and Breakfast.

Vacation Rentals

There are also a handful of cabins available for multiple night and weekly rentals if you’re looking for a longer stay or combining several families to stay together.

Camping

Really feeling up for a Montana adventure? You can pitch your tent or RV and camp right on Holland Lake! We again suggest that you book your camping site ahead of time, but that can easily be done through the USDA Forest Service website.  Please note that although this campsite does offer on-site restroom facitilites, it does not support electrical hook-ups should your RV require it.
